Life is going great in the Coker household! We had a good Easter
yesterday. The Easter bunny came to visit and snuck Arianna's
Easter eggs out of the house and hid them three times! She kept
trying to catch the Easter bunny, but never was able to!
Anna's doing great! She weighs more than 9 lbs. now and is about
22 inches long. Lauren, Anna's birthmom, voluntarily relinquished
her rights on March 6th. So, step 2 is complete! Three more steps
to go: consent or termination of birthfather, consent of Native
American tribe, and finalization. Almost halfway there!

We took Annaliese to church today for the first time. Our minister
came to the house a few days ago and made a video of Ken, Ari,
Anna and I. We talked about adoption and gave some of Anna's
story. They showed the video at church today, prayed over our
family and then asked for donations to help us pay for the adoption
expenses that are starting to roll in. We don't know how much was
raised through the church yet, but will update our chipin as soon as
we have it. We want to say thank you to our family and friends for
all their love and support!

Sorry we were out of touch for 2 days - no internet at hospital! But
everything went great! We are home with Annaliese. Arianna
thinks she is the most wonderful and beautiful baby in the world.

Annaliese Rose was finally born at 9:21 pm. She weighs 8 lb. 2 oz.
and she is 20 inches long! Yeah! Hopefully, we will be bringing her
home Tuesday!

They began Lauren's induction this morning at about 8:15, but the
labor is going very slow. The doctor doesn't think she will have
Annaliese until early evening! We're being patient (yeah, right!)

Well, Ken and I are driving to Durant, OK to be there for the birth of
Annaliese Rose Coker. She is scheduled to be delivered
tomorrow - Monday, February 18! Check back often to get updates
and see pictures!
